THE AUSTRALIAN BOGEY.
TO THE EDITOR Of "THE PRESS." Sir, —All Sow Zealand is waiting breathless for the verdict from Sydney as to whether this lamentable strike is to be continued or not. Have people in New Zealand any idea how little the Australian trade really influences us? Our meat, wool, dairy produce, and surplus grain all go to England. That is where our customers are. Never mind Sydney, let them ostracise us if they wish. Their opinion or threats should not influence the strike one iota. Their threats to boycott us are worthless.—Yours, etc., PAKEHA.
