AGAINST ANARCHY.

TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." Si r> —l would suggest that, now the Federation of Labour and the Social Democratic Party have shown us cloarry that they are out to destroy society is at present constituted —by any means, irrespective of how much the general- public may suffer, we form a. society for all level-headed workers and members of society to band together, to protect our homes and families when trouble arises like the late senseless strike. ' - It is unthinkable that this fair land should be held in the grip of any set of men, to be exploited for their whim and fancy by way ot experiment. The Federation of Labour has had several mad attempts to bring ruin to thousands of satisfied, peaceful citizens, and still they go on urging all the workers to support their mad antics by returning candidates pledged to support their siily nlatforn;. It is all very fine for men such as Messrs McCombs, Hunter, Mills, Howard, etc., to stand up and foam about the bosses grinding us chaps down. They are after a billet in the House, while we poor fools have to foot the bill. Therefore 1 think it is time we formed a defence association, to protect our mutual interests. — Yours, etc., A WORKER.
