MEETING AT RANGIORA.

A meeting was held at the Institute Hall, Rangiora, on Saturday evening, Mr P. J. Kerr presiding. The Chairman gave an address consisting of an outline of tho history of ,the strike, and was followed by Mr Morgan Williams, who urged the farmers to join forces with the Social Democratic Party. Other speakers were Messrs. H. R. Voyce, JVC. Webb, M.P., and J. McCombs. A collection was taken after the meeting in. aid of the strike fund, and the speakers were accorded a hearty vote of thanks.

Yesterday afternoon an open-air meeting was held in tho Woolston Domain. Mr H. Hunter presided, and there was a large gathering present. Addresses were delivered by Messrs J. Robertson and P. C. Webb, M.P's., G. Stone, North Island organiser of tho United Federation of Labour, J. MeCombs, and "Professor" Mills.

In the evening another meeting was held in the Socialist Hall, at which speeches wero given by the Rev. J. L. Mortimer, Messrs J. Robertson and P. C. Webb, M.P.'s, and "Professor" Mills.
