LiirwoodtA notched 86 against Sydenham last week, and the latter replied with 245. On going in again Linwood made 226 (Jones 112. Warner 30 Otlev not out 26, Pelevs 14, Erglacd 10,'HorrelI Wilson 10. Russell 10). Sydenham required 65 to win and made tho runs with the loss of four wicket. (Martin not out 25. Goring 11), Sydonbam winning by six wickets. Linwood B made, at Lancaster Park, 221 against Riccarton, who had 80 for two wickets at th© close of play last week. Riccarton. playing one man short, made 196 (Watts 63, Taylor 33, Robertson 23, Luttrell 25,.Francis 14, Smith 13). Linwood notched 156 for nine wickets (Gurnev 53 not out. Bisman 19. Patterson 16. Murison 10). . The Boys' High School v. Sydenham B match" was continued at Sydenham Park. Boys' High - School carried their first innings total to 236 in reply to Sydenham's 161. Sydenham going in made 167 (Gray 30, Stevens 30 Watt 36, Wiltshire- 30, Forrester 23). Boys' High School, in their second venture could only total 76 (Evans 33. Nixon 12). Sydenham thus won by 17 runs. «,_.-.,. West B in response to St. Albans \'s 303 made 13S (Jenkins 71, Burrell 10, Wright 13, White 16, and McCoy 13), and following on, were all out for 130 (Jenkins 36, Wright 36, Sinclair junr. 46 not out). St. Albans -to" by an inrings and 35 runs. East C_r_t._urc_ 120, and Christ's C-iio_.e •-, was wua.m.u, ._;_ ._._t in the.r second innings made 101 (Armstrong 20. Corbett 10, Haffenden 32, Haughev 13). Lamer, Pinckney and >leredith-Kaye took the wickets for College, who, requiring 146 to win, only made 124 (Pinckney 27 Bush 12, Harrison 22, Lowry 39). Haughey, Brooke, Armstrong, and Haffenden did tho bowling. East Christchurch won by 21 runs.
