Russell 10). Sydenham required 65 to win and made tho runs with the loss of four wicket. (Martin not out 25. Goring 11), Sydonbam winning by six wickets. Linwood B made, at Lancaster Park, 221 against Riccarton, who had 80 for two wickets at th© close of play last week. Riccarton. playing one man short, made 196 (Watts 63, Taylor 33, Robertson 23, Luttrell 25,.Francis 14, Smith 13). Linwood notched 156 for nine wickets (Gurnev 53 not out. Bisman 19. Patterson 16. Murison 10). . The Boys' High School v. Sydenham B match" was continued at Sydenham Park. Boys' High - School carried their first innings total to 236 in reply to Sydenham's 161. Sydenham going in made 167 (Gray 30, Stevens 30 Watt 36, Wiltshire- 30, Forrester 23). Boys' High School, in their second venture could only total 76 (Evans 33. Nixon 12). Sydenham thus won by 17 runs. «,_.-.,. West B in response to St. Albans \'s 303 made 13S (Jenkins 71, Burrell 10, Wright 13, White 16, and McCoy 13), and following on, were all out for 130 (Jenkins 36, Wright 36, Sinclair junr. 46 not out).
