SATURDAY'S GRADE MATCHES.
■ A showery and very threatening morning made it rery doubtful if grade matches would be played on Saturday, but tbe weather broke just before noon, arid remained fine for the rest of the day Riccarton _cord an easy win against West Christchurch, the feature of the Riccarton innings being a well-played 99 by Whitta. East Christchurch found the big score of 433 far too big for them, and St. Albans scored a comfortable win. Linwood did little better against Sydenham than in the first innings, and the latter scored a threepoint win.
