At the opening meeting of the Congress d'Action Franchise, a militant Royalist organisation, a section of those , present, consisting of five members,' dragged a man on to the platform, handcuffed and bound and placarded with the word "Spy." . ■■■■ . The president explained ■ that- the man was a police agent, who had joined for the purpose of betraying them. Being suspected, he had been ordered to deface the Waldeck-Rousseau etatoe, and was subsequently seen to telephone to the police. . , After suffering the execrations of audience, the man, still handcuffed', but with the key of the handcuffs in his pocket, was turned , into the street. .
