CANTERBURY ROWING ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Canterbury Rowing Association -was held last night. . Present— Meeire F. D. Keeteven (in the chair), A. McLachlen, R. J. Hobba, W. H. Evans, A. T. Brunaderi, F. S. OUey, T. Chambers, H. Tapling, R. E. Nightingale, ». Duggan, C. G. Farrow, J. H. Keetley, and SI. S. Gentles (hem. secretary). The Timaru Rowing Club notified the appointment of Mr C. G. Farrow as their delegate. Aksroa appointed Mr F. S. Otley to » similar poeitkm in tho internets of their club. The latter club "wrote informing the A»ecci&lion that it bed been decided to proceed with their regatta, which would be held as usual on December 16th, unless financial assistance wee withheld through tho present unsettled stato of affairs. The letter, was received, and the official programme approved, the Pre&fdcnt beinjr appointed to represent the Association at tho xegatt*.
UNION , ROWING CLUB.
Tho new members' double scu!!.} (a raoo for members wb - have joined tho club this season) were ccr.clnded Inet evening. A *ntry was received, but only eight crews etarl€tt.
