MAHENO REPORTS ALL WELL,
(Received November 28th, 11.20.p.m.) SYDNEY, November 28. In view of the sticking up of the Tofua, the steamer Upolo, owned by Nelson and Roberts, is being placed in. commission for tho Fiji trade. The one object is to provide the Islanders with supplies of Christmas goods. It is reported that a number of steamers have been chartered, or are being chartered, to carry Newcastle coal to New Zealand. A wireless message from the Maheno, two hundred miles off the land, reports all well.
