A SYDNEY MYSTERY

The mysterious disappearance of Mona West, aged twenty-one, is causing comment. She belonged to Goulburn, and was spending a holiday with her uncle, Dr. O'Hara, a wellknown, physician, in Bayswater road, Darlinghurst. She intended to return home on November sth, but went out that morning to do shopping in the city, saying ehe would return to lunch. That was the last soon of her.
Shortly after Miss West's disappearance her parents received a letter in disguised handwriting, Baying that foul play was suspected. No motive is assigned.
The girl was always bright and happy, had hosts of friends, and was universally admired and respected.
