AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.
(arsciAL to "thh fheu.") "WELLINGTON, November 27. The Prime Minister stated in the House to-day that arrangeinente were being made by the Railway Department for the conveyance of members to Auckland in connexion with the opening of the exhibition on Monday. Members could leave "Wellington by the 12.35 p.m. on Saturday, and would return by a special train leaving Auckland about 11.30 on Monday night. The House »would not sit on Monday.
Sir Joseph Ward: Will it sit oa Saturday? Mar Massey: No, the House has not had any Saturday sittings this session. Sir Joseph Ward made some remark about recent proceedings on Saturdays. Mr Massey (laughing): What you are thinking of was really a combination of Friday or Thursday sittings. (Laughter). Mr J. S. Dkkson. who is making the arrangements for the parliamentary trip stated that about twenty members of the House, and nearly all the members of the Legislative Council, intended to take part in the trig.
