FRIDAY. NOVEMBER 27th. "Yesterday morning we caw three men with swags, tin dishes, and all thy. other accoutrements of diggers, walking in the direction of Papanui; we of course -felt it our duty to ask them where, they were going, and learnt accordingly that thej' were on their way to Oxford for ihe purpose of prospecting': We may therefore expect beforel long to hear either we arc or are not going to hare a goldfield in that neighbourhood."
