CONDEMNATION OF TACTICS OF OPPOSITION.

(PJIESS ASSOCIATION TELXGBAU.) BLENHEIM, November 27. At a meeting of farmers and settlers held in the Sounds district yesterday, the following resolution was passed:— "This large and representative gathering of settlers ,and others records its strongest protest against the absurd and wasteful tactics of the Opposition' Party in Parliament during the present session, which, in our opinion, are only used by the Opposition for the purposo of obstructing and delaying the passage of important and necessary reforms, and we further think that such .tactics have a tendency to lower the dig'ity and rrestige of Parliament; and wo particularly deplore such tactics at a time when our country is passing through such an industrial crisis as aat present."
