THE "RED FEDS."

On various occasions in the House the members for Grey and Grey Lynn have referred to themselves as "Red Feds." Mr Pearce in a speech to-night used tho term in reference to these two members, whereupon Mr G. W.Russell rose to a point of order, and asked whether the term. as applied to members of tho House was in order. Mr Pearce said that he- did not intend the term as one of disrespect, and he referred to the fact that the members themselves had. described 'hemselvps by that title. . Mr Speaker said the use of terms of this kind as a rule was not desirable, but he had heard one or two members call themselves "Red Feds," and he did not therefore see why tho term should bo objected to.
