STORE CATTLE.
The yarding of store cattle consisted 'principally of animal? varying in age from'fifteen to eighteen months sorte. Competition was not keen; and bidding was irregular for all classes. Yearlings, 38s. Fifteen to eighteen montns sorts, £3 6s to £4 Iβ. T\vo-year steers, £4 16s to £5 ss. heifers, £4 12s. Dry-cows, £1 10s to "£5 ss. • DAIRY COWS. Dairy cows wore represented by a small entry, principally of an indifferent class. For this.description the demand was .far from strong, but useful sorts, as usual, commanded good competition. Representative prices ranged from £3 5s to £10 10s, according to quality. i'IGS. Only a medium entry of fat pigs was penned, and the market showed little change from the previous week, porkers if anything being a shade easier. Choppers, £3 to £4 15s. Heavy baconers, £3 to £3 4s. Extra to £3 10s. Lighter. £2 7s to £2 los. Equal to 3d to s|d per lb. Heavy porkers, £2 3s to £2 6s. Lighter, £1 18s to £2 2s. Equivalent to 6d to GJcl per Ib. / The yarding of store pigs was of fair 1 dimensions, but the demand was want- | ing in briskness, values being easier except in the caso of stores, which cold freely. No small stores wero offered. Lurpe stores, 30s +0 365. Medium pigs, 23s to S9s. Wcancrs, 10s 6d to 18s.
