RETURNING HOME
TOUR A FINANCIAL SUCCESS. (Received November 26tn, 11.10 p.m.) VANCOUVER, November -o. Mr George Mason, in an interview, eaid the New Zealanders were well satisfied with the results of the tour,, which was financially successful. The Americans know little about Rugby, but the British Columbians, despite their - poor showing, were a much stronger aggregation, and this was doubtless due to tho fact that the playera were largely newly-arrived Britishers. A banquet was proposed to" bo given to the New Zealanders at Vancouver, but was abandoned because of Ogden's death. The players sail for home by the steamer Niagara.
