MR L. HUNNIBELL.
A very old and respected resident of Rflngiora has passed away in the person of Mr L. , Hunnibell. The deceased was born in Hawlev. Suffolk, and landed m Lyttelton on November sth, 1864, in the barque Belissama, and had been a resident of Rangiora ever since, having conducted a, very successful boot business. The deceased had interested himself in a good many local institutions; ho had been for forty years treasurer to the Rangiora Lodge of Oddfellows, and a good many years trustee to the Ashley district. Hβ was a lover of music, and was a member of the band in Rangiora in the early days, and also took part in the Philharmonic Society,-and one time wns conductor of St. John's choir. He made a hobby of horticulture and hfld various offices in the Horticultural Society and the Chrysanthemum Club, and was also a member of the committee of tho Literary Institute. He leaver a widow, four sons, and two daughters.
