MAKURA AND MANUKA DISCHARGING.
WATERSIDERS REFUSE TO UNLOAD TOFUA.
(Received November 25th, 10.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 25. The Ulimaroa's mails and luggage were landed. The discharging of the Makura and the Manuka by the office staff is elowly proceeding. The Willochra is tied to the wharf. Her cargo will not be handled until the unloading of the Mnkura is finished. The Karitane's cargo is also left untouched for the time being. Anxiety is felt in connexion wifTi the discharge of a record cargo of bananas arriving to-morrqw from Fiji by the Tofua. The wharf labourers have announced that they do not intend to discharge her. It is now definitely stated that the stewards on the Makura and the Willochra last night decided to cease supplying food to the office staff engaged in discharging; the steamers on the ground that they are freo labourers.
