A statement is going the rounds of the Tress that the Manawatu A. and P. Association. lost £1000 Aver . the recent Show, as a result of the strike and bad weather. This is totally incorrect (says a Press Association message). Tho gate receipts wero £300 less than last year, but tho difference was made up by increased entry fees, donations, etc.
