DISGRACEFUL REVELATIONS. MELBOURNE, November 21. Before the Housing Commission evidence was produced of the existence of many hovels. In some suburbs families are herded together, and some three-roomed places are occupied by nine persons. -
■Many of the houses are insanitary, rotting, and without baths.
In one street tbere are sixteen houses with one bath only, yet exorbitant rents are charged.
