The attack upon a small' »°"y °*> special constables by a "number of strikers near the Trades Hall, Hobson street last evening was caused by specials clearing away a crowd of two hutidred people which was blocking traffic * ~rrin the vicinity of the Trades Hall. One woman was knocked down in tho roclee, - - and one was struck on the head with a baton. Neither was seriously injured.
