DENUNCIATION OF ATROCITIES LEADS TO DUEL. BULGAR CHAMPION WORSTED. (By Cable.—Frees Association—Copyright.) PARIS, November 19. Owing to the denunciation by the famous French novelist, Pierre Loti, of the Bulgarian atrocities, Torcom, a Bulgarian lieutenant, came to Paris and challenged Loti to fight a duel.
M. Breitmeyer, a well-known French jurist, accepted the challenge on. behalf, and six bouts were fought at Montmorency, Torcom being wounded in the hand and breast.
