ELECTION CAMPAIGN IN FULL SWING. (By CVole.—Prese Association—Coovr.?at.) .SYDNEY, November 20. The election campaign is in full swin£. Interest is increased owing to the battle between Mr Arthur Griffith and Mr C. G. Wade, Leader of tho Opposition, over Mr Wade's charges concerning Mr administration of the Public Works Department. The battle is punctuated by numerous mutual challenges to thrash tho matter out in tho Courts. Both, however, aro apparently shy of going the length of legal action.
The local option battle in tho coming elections threatens to be very keen, tfoth sides are working hard, and the Press is inundated with correspondence for and against "drying" the electorates. Tho local optioniets are concentrating special efforts on a few electorates, with the hope of carrying Noliconso in them.
