NEW ZEALANDERS AND HOME RULE.

Our London correspondent writes:— Some light may be thrown on the Homo Rule'question by the fact that two prominent New Zealanders who have recently visited Ireland have both been converted. One of the gentlemen referred to held a loading position in New Zealand politics, and was always there a staunch Home Ruler. Recently he "toured Ireland in tho most comprehensive manner, and he informed mc afterwards that his experience had converted him to the belief that Ireland did not require Home RuTo. The other, a more recent visitor, was also a staunch Home Ruler in. New ZealandHe also toured Ireland, and it ought to be mentioned that he spent most of his time in Ulster, whereas his predecessor spent most in Nationalist Ireland. The second visitor also returned from Ireland converted. Needless to say there was some difference in the influences which produced the change in the two cases. The earlier traveller was influenced rather by the actual condition of Ireland as tie saw it; the latter by tho feeling which he found to exist in Ulster.
