To-morrow cvenjug. a concort will bo given in the Garrison Hxiil, Dtincdin, and the next afternoon nn open-air concert "trill be held in tho Caledonian Grounds. The , famous baad will roach Christchureh on Tuesday evening next, and will give two conoofts in tho King Edward Barracks. Tho first will bo hold on Tuesday evening, and tho second on Wednesday afternoon at 2.30 p.m., that hour having boen fixed to enable the band to catch tho Wellington steamer. Within tho past, forv days there were some fears that tho band would not bo ablo to reach Now Zealand in time to carry out all tho arrangemente which hav<» boen mado for it. It wns stated on Tuesday morning that tho Now Zealand Shining Company, in view of the difficulties likely to be experienced in the Dominion ports, hod tried to get into touch with the approaching steamer* by wireless to order her back. to Hobart to coal. When tho vessel's apparatus At last got into touch with New Zealand, she reported that tho m««ago had reached 3ier too lato for her to put back, and tho tiatural nervousness of tho Exhibition authorities was accordingly relieved. Arrangements Lave boen mado for the band to givo a concert in Timarn on itonday night. This will bo tho only concert which jean bo given outside the four cities.
