LONDON, November 18. Captain Amundsen has engaged a crow of fourteen, besides a scientific staff. He is equipping the Fram with seven years' provisions, and is sailing from San Francisco in June, entering the ice-drift in September. Tho cost of equipping the Fram will ho £33,000. Half this sum has alreadybeen received, and Captain Amundsen hopes to provide the balance out of his earnings from lectures, the sale of postcards, photographs, and stomps.
