THE RAND RIOTS.
CHARGES AGAINST THE POLICE AND MILITARY FAIL. (By Cable.—ProeS Association—Copyright.) JOHANNESBURG, November 18. The Rand Riots .Commission's report states that the police and military did not fire on defenceless crowds. The officers and soldiers only did their duty, and no blame was attachable to them, though there may have been a few oases of carelessness. The Commission also commends the bravery and patience of the police.
