COALGATE.
On. Friday, at the Coalgate sale, notwithstanding there being a heavy downpour all day, there wos an entry of 1550 cheep add lambs, tho principal feature being a lino of 980 two-tooth, half bred ewes from Mr F. J. Savifl's Mount- White 'Station, which mot with, good competition, and were taken i» one line at 203 3d per head. Tho other stores consisted of a line of ewes and bm» small lots of .forward lambs. The fats numbered about 320. lambs accounting for 277, the balance being a lew odd lots of ew«9 and wethers. Xbjire was a. fair attendance, and, oxpegting for fat lambs, a good clearance #es effected at the following prices:— lambs 14s to 14s od. fab crossbred Ifep 10a 6d to 13e. lid, wettiere 14e txL forward lambs 18e lldi two-tooth, baifbred ewes 20b 3d, eound-mouth froesbred ewes 14a lid. There were *Bout 20 head of mixed obttle yarded, sold at ruling fates.
