Despite Uie unfavourable. weather there was a large attendance at the fortnightly utoos. ciilo Jieid at l<eesu>n on I'rwiuy. There were 49 fat pigs yardod, whicli. were of fairly good' quality, taken all roiuid. iJacoiiers made from 45s to 555; choppers made from 40s to 645. The number of etore-s yarded was 75, most of which woro small, and sold at from lCs to 2563; larger ones fold at from 33e to 30s; six. young sows in ipig to a purebred Berkehire boar, nuule from. £3 16s to £8 Jftj; There was a medium yarding of sheep, and some of tho sales were:—JjVjr -Mr Jolin Bainett, 6*5 lat owes at Hβ 3d l ; A. McPhereon, 3o*iat ewea at Hβ; \V. 'Nixon, 69 store lambs nt 11s 2d; R. E. Allen, 10 . two-tooth wethers at 13s; Frank O'Boyle, 42 ewes and lambs at 6s Id j F.: Frampton, 47 fat withers at 'los sd, 11 ewes at 11s 4d; A. Lilley, 20 lambs at iSa; U. O. Grtseh, 33 lambd at 13» IOd; W. J. Lemon, 30 two-tooth wethers at 17e Id, 3 lambs at 5s 9d; Allen Bros., 3> wethers at 12s lid. The yarding of cattle wna a fair one. Springing oows brought Up to £6 7s Od, and heifers £4 7s Gd ; fat> ooiVe realised from £4 10s upwards, and fat heifers ii<& to £5 2s 6d.
