Wheat. —Thero has been an excoptionallv keen enquiry for any old- wheat left oii the market, but. a.s previously reported, this district is unablo to produce any to meet the demand. A fairly large quantity of new wheat is now in stook, aud should shortly bo Toady for stacking, but it. will be then fully six weeks before any is fit for threshing, and it is not likely that any farmers will take the risk of threshing out of stook in a season liko the present, when, doubtless, tho wheat will sweat in the bags, and bo useless for milling purposes for a very long time to come. Oats.—Threshing-machines havo been busy threshing oats, and sales have been made of Algerians at Is lOd to Is lid. Duns and Gartons Is 4d, Danish Is 3d: but the present indications are that these prices wero only for immediate delivery, and could not now be obtained. Values are practically :—Algerians Is 10d, hoavv Gartons" Is -id, Duns Is 3d to Is 3Jd, Danish Is 2d.

Oatsheaf Chaff.—A limited quantity of old chaff has been sold, £3 being the price paid. Thero will be little business now transacted before tho new season's sheaves aro ready for cutting. Homuoys, which were yarded in largo numbers, had only a fair sale. Stud rains were not largely entered, and the highest figure realised was 33 guineas
