VIEWS OF SIR E. BARTON. United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received February 18th, 10.33 β-m.) ■HOBAKT, February 18. Sir E. Barton is touring the State, and delivering addressee. He states that negotions between Canada, Fiji, aod the Union Company are proceeding for the extension of the Australian-Canadian mail service. He is . inclined to a short extension only, for perhaps two yeaxs, his reason being that it might be possible to provide for a better service .with larger ships. Negotiations, however, will shortly be completed.
