FENDALTON CLUB.
At the annual meeting of the Fendalton Dramatic Club, the Rev. T. A. Hamilton was in the chair. The annual report stated that the club had been fairly sucoeaeful, bat that a want of interest was shown by the members, and that with a view to getting an opinion as to whether the club should be continued or not a motion would be moved to the effect that the club should be wound up. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £4 15s sd, wish assets amounting to £30, and no liabilities. A motion that the club should be wound up provoked a lively diecueekm, and eventually it was decided that the Fendalton Dramatic dob should be reconstituted under the name of the Fendalton Club. New rules were drawn up. The following officers were elected for the eaeumg year: —President, Rev. T. A." Hamilton; vicepresidenta, Messrs T- W. N. Beckett, Hy. Overton, Q. W. Humphreys, H. A. Adley S. Bullock, R. A. Ballantyne, and T. H. Beckett; hon. secretary, G. 'J. C. Smart; hon. treasurer, P. F. rteckett; committee, Mesdame« R. A. Bailantyne and Or. J, C. Smart, Miss Meares.epnd Mewrs C. Hawkins, 3D. Tribe, end 5. Meet*.
