factorily. AN INTERNATIONAL BOAT RACE. ■ (Received February 17th, 1.15 a.m.) SYDNEY, February 16. At the Anniversary Regatta last month a race between boats from the American transport Glacier and the British flagship Royal Arthur was Towed, the latter winning. The American bluejackets were hot satisfied with theeresult, and challengisd the victors. Thousands, of spectators thronged the harbour to-day to witness the contest, including the Naval authorities and members of the Government. The Britishers beat the Americans by about ten lengths, amid great excitement.
