Tbe caw engineer of the Roads and Bridges Department wrote forwarding a report of toe Ferry road enquiry, in which this Board's erare of cost wee put down to be 4 per cent., and stating that the eward could not be enforced. Tenders for the supply of metal were received, and that of 6. P. Andrews accepted for Avon and Opawa wards and Bridle track; and J. E. Garland's tender for the Bromley, Hilbborough, St. Martin's, and part of Vailey ward.
