PRO-BOER OPINIONS.
MR CHAMBERLAIN LN CAPE COLONY.
AN APPEAL TO THE DUTCH.
(Received February 11th, 10.11 p.m.)
CAPETOWN, February 11.
"Ons Land," a Boor journal, etates that Christian De Wet's deputation represented the views of the great majority of burghers. The time had come to open the doore of the political prisons of Soutih Africa. Many Dutch joined in an enthusiastic welcome to Mr Chamberlain at Grahamstown. Mr Chamberlain fervently appealed to the Dutch to imitate the Dutch in other parts by loyally accepting the result of the war, assisting to promote peace, and banishing racial animosity now that iihe chimerical idea of wresting the sovereignty from Britain had been dispelled.
