ROAD BOARDS.
GERAjLDINE. At the Oraldine- Road Board meeting there were present: —Messrs J. Kelland (chairman), K. Brophy, J. M. Barker, and A. Metcalf. Mr E. Tetheridg© asked the Board to have gorse cleared from stone heaps on kmml near his property, Woodbury. The Board disclaimed the responsibility of clearing any gome on roads. The overseer wae authorised to attend* to culverts complained of by Mrs Wigley, Pleasant Point. The Geraldine County Council notified that they could not do anything in the meantime in the way of a traffic bridge at Peckluwn's crossing. The overswr is to prepare plans for a footbridge and submit same with- estimate of cost to the Department of Roads. It was resolved to sup for all umpaid rates after February 25th inefc.
