C. 8. Harper (*cr), F. H. Fn&oia (IB), and M. E. Wood (Ift Sin) also competed. The jumping was fair all round. Haarper, the acratcb man, jumped 19ft 2in. 440 yds Hurdle*- C. 8. Harper, 12yds» 1; F. S. H«ley. lOyde, 2. N; Wood 12yda, B. Hunpton 18yde, and J. H. Worg»n lSyds also atarttd. Harley ran to the front at the firet hurdle, leading till haH-wsy round.
