Mr H.-Copeland, the Now Souti Walee Agent-General, speaking at tiho Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce- dinner, said that colonial representation in the Imperial Parliament was at present absolutely impossible. One of the Princess Lomse'e children having been attacked by typhoid fever, and Princess Louise being anxious to hasten to t«he bedside, Giron broke off his relations with the Princess, and went to Brussels in ordleir not to impede the reunion of Princess Louise and her children. Princess Louise wae told never to. see tibe children unless she relinquished Giron. She did co, and received promises of the utmost consideration and concessions at Vienna and Dresden. BOARD OF TRADE RETURNS. (Received February 9th, 1.6 a.m.) LONDON, February 8. The Board of Trade returns for Januaryshow that imports decreased by £3,915,833, and exporte increased by £634,462.
