TAI TAPU ROAD BOARD.
At a meeting of th&Tai Tapu Road Board there were present the Chaeman and all the members. The cattle nagtx'a term having expired, ho was re-appointed, and specially instructed to uee every lawful mean* to Veep the roads clear of wandering stock. Correepondeaoe was received from the Selwyn County Council with reference to the email birds nuisance, and the olerk was directed to eeod in a full account of tbe tnmsactione of tbe Board in that connection. It was resolved that owing to the liberal offers of assistance from the" ratepayers of the Tai Tapu and Hateweli Road Board districts that no application for a grant from the County Council be made at present. Messrs Forbe* and others were permitted to moke any neoemry improvemente with a view to terming a recreation ground on the piece of laud lately fenced in along the OTwr, ' .■-■"*
