Ten Whitehead torpedoes, wijh engine and compressors, which are stored in the torpedo sheds at Shelly Bay, have been sold to Cable and Co., local ironfounders, for £100. It is understood that the disposal is made on the recommendation of the Admiral. The original cost was something like £7000. WANGANUI, February 6. Waveirley defeated the Nelson bowlers on the Wanganui green thjs morning, in a three rink maitch, by 53 to 46. Nelson piays Wanganui a return m-Uteh this afternoon. NELSON, February 6. A concert was given in the School of Music this evening by two Wellington boys, Thomas Trowell and Garnet Trowell, the former a 'cello player of wonderful ability, and the latter a violinist. The programme, was highly classical, and the boys are true musicians. As the concert proceeded the audience became very enthusiastic, particularly yrith regard to the 'cello performances.
