CHURCH MISSION FUND.
TO THB EDITOR OF THE TRESS. Sir, —The annual allocation of Church Mission Fund grants will be made by the Standing Committee next month. No doubt the viewe expressed by "Only a Subscriber " in this morning's " Press " will have due consideration. I am a little afraid, however, that his letter may create a needless feeling of distrust as to the management of the fund. Will you, therefore, permit me to say that oat of the annual sum of £885 now being paid to increase the incomes of the parochial clergy, £730 goes to purely country districts, £65 to districts within the boundaries of Greater Christchurcb, and £90 to districts juet outside those boundaries. The steady annual increase in the income derived from effertori-es shows, I think, that the fund possesses the confidence of the diocese.— Yours, etc., EDWLV A. SCOTT, Organising Secretary. Sydenham Vicarage, 4th Febiuary, 1903.
