The resignation of Captain Charlewood of the command of the Im|«rral Rifles, as from October 28th, 1902, is gazetted. •
Consequent upon the abolition of the South Canterbury, North Otago, and Southland military sub-divisons, Lieutenant-Col-onels C. S. Bailey, A. Headland, and J. E. Hawkins, V.D., the officers previously in command of these sub-districts, have been retired as from January let, 1903..
Major Jamee Beid, New Zealand Militia, has b&en transferred to the honorary unattached list.
Brevet-Colonel Stuart Newall, New Zealand Militia, retiree from the command of the Wellington militia and volunteer district, and is transferred to the honorary unattached list with the rank of colonel, as from April let, 1903, leave of absence iiaving been granted to him to that date.
