MILITARY ARRANGEMENTS,
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 30th, 9.32 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 30. The American Senate's Military Committee, owing to Germany's attitnde towards Venezuela, has accepted the proposal of the House of Representatives to retain transports for service. It also increased the number of gunners. A member of the committee declared that it was intended to make it plain that America would not submit to German bluff.
