Th« Labour Conference adopted resolutions in favour of a State Bank as one of it* figlnting planks, en increase in the land value tax to twopence, and a progressive land tax oa estates over the value of £20,000, with a right to compulsory resumption for settlement purposes. (Received January 30th, 12.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, January 29. The Labour Conference, by 54 to <J7> adopted a resolution in favour of the abolition of party Parliamentary Government.
