United Presa Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January ?.9th, 9.29 a.m.) CAPETOWN, January 28. The Afrikander newspapers praiee Mr Chamberlain's speeches at Lichtenburg aad Ventersdorp as wise, healing, and courageous utterances.
Messrs A. Wolmarans and A. D; Fischer, the Boer delegates who visited Europe, are to be permitted to return to South Africa.
Mr and Mrs Chamberlain had a great welcome at Mufekrng, the Hon. Sir W. F. Hely-Hutchinson, Governor of Cape Colony, Sir A. Lawley, and General Baden-Powell participating.
The Jesuits' Mashona Natives' Band travelled 800 mike to join in the welcome.
