Certain American banks are disposed to advant© Venezuela sufficient to enable the blockade to be raised. It is unofficially stated that Mr Bowen offers thirty per cent, of the Customs receipts at Puerto Cabello and La Guayra, to be collected by a joint committee of the Powers concerned.

The British naval authorities at La Guayia report that the blockade will be raised next Wednesday.
