Sir, —To-day I was served with a notice from Mr Linskev, returning officer for th<" above district, informing m« that as 1 failed to vote at the late election on the 25th of November, my name was to be taken off the roll unless I wislied to be reinstated. Now, Sir, as I voted on tha» date in the Kangiora booth, can you or any of your readers exp.ain how this mistake occurred? I also know </f two other-: who have had a notice served on them yet. they voted. There is evidently something wrong. All three were prohibition voters; how about the recount, and what became of tbese voting papeiß?—Youis, etc,. RANGIORA.
