SERIOUS OUTBREAK AT GORE.
« (SPECIAL TO "THE TRESS.") GORE, January 26. A destructive fire occurred at Riveredaie yesterday afternoon, totaily destroying bees Hotel, Maueon's store, a ten-roomed dwelling and bakdiouse, and Lawlor's butcher shop and seven-ioomed dwelling The fire was caused by a defective chimiiev in tlie hotel. Gee was insured for £600 on the furniture and £1100 on the building. The estimated loss is £1000 above the insurances. Manson had £800 on buildings and furniture and £1000 on the stock; the lv.s- is £750 over that. Lawlcr had £240 on buUdinafi and £50 on the furniture, arid the loss is" £100. An old store near La.wlor's Avas pulled down, staying the progress c>r the fire. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) XELSOX, Januiixy 26. A cottage occupied by Mrs Barry was destroyed by fire this evening. There was m> insurance on tlie contents, but tlie building was covered to tlie extent of £150 in the Sun office. The house was owned by Mr Pannenter.
