Two petformanc€B of the pantomime "Dick Whittington" we-re given by DL't's Gaiety Coanpaaiy afc the Opera House on Saturday, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. Each performance was well attended. Mips Olive Lenton, who, at very short notice, took the name part, achieved a decided success, and 1 was at frequent intervals heartily applauded. Her song, "There are eyes of blue," was a particularly popular item. Mr Joe Cowan , as Kliza, and Mr Frank M. Clark as Idle Jack, supplied a quantity of humour, which was not lost on the audience. Miss Jeannie Johnston, Miss Galarda, Mr ICrn-.est Fitta, •Mγ Fred Rivenhall, and the others filled their parts with satisfaction, arid the pantomime went through successfully from first to last. A cake-walk, a statue ballet, #1 ranged by Miss Ethel Clifford, songs, and dances by the Sisters Smith and the Galardi Sisters, were introduced during tne progress of the piece, and the programme concluded with an amusing harlequinade.
