FIRE AT INVERCARGILL.

Watson'e tailor's rfiop, at the corner of Esk and Dee streets, did considerable damage to the stock, which was valued at £300, and on which there wee an insurance of £100 in the Im perial office. . The shop had been undergoing alterations, which hod only that day been completed. No fire had been used in the place but gas. , The ealoon of Double Brothers, hairdressers, suffered from water to some extent.
