In th* fourth Itmnfl of the doublee two teams from the Umetchurch Ctusb met, and after a good game Louiseon and Bishop defeated their cluomates, Lambie and Madd**** by 3 points, >dbe scores being:—Loaisson and Biehop 18, Lambie and MaddSwm 15. At the seventh head the scores were:—•Bishop 6, Maddison 4, and at the fourteenth, Biehop 18, Maddiwra 7. Baroett and Joynt made rather a poor fight with Churchward and Webb, only scaring Bto their 18. In the fifth round of the Champkm Singles Gow beat Read badly by 26 to 8- Gow then met Allnutt. The former had very bad luck at tho start, only scoring 3 up to the eighth head, as against Albnitt's 12. From thw Gow scored rapidly tip to the imilteenth head, when the scores were 13 all. Aliiratt managed to get two on the fifteenth head, making the gome Allnutt 15, Gow 13. Gow got in three on the sixteenth, and won by 16 to 15. The final will be played to-morrow, between Bell and Gow, for first and second prize, and Sneddon and Allnutt for third. The following were the results of yesterday's play: — RENTS! TOURNAMENT. Semi-Final. Dunedin: J. Barnes, J. C. Short, J. G. Bentley. W. McLaren (skip), 20. Green Island: J. Aitchison, W. McDonald, A. Young, D. Buchanan, 17. Green Island led off with o single, but failed to ecore tho next two ends, Dunedin getting one at the second head and one at the third. At -the fourth head GTeen Island scored one. and at tho fifth head McLaren got in three. A singio /or Green Island at t£o next and seventh heads broiig-ht the eoore up to—Dunedin 6, Green Island 4. McLaxeji then scored one et the ninth head, and two at the tenth. At tho fifteenth head McLaren got in one more, and then for the three following heads Green Island scored one, two, and one, ranking tho total 11. In. the seventh and ninth heads Sinclair got two in at each, and in the eighth head Brackenridge got one. At seven heads the scores were—Dunedin 6, Victoria 6. In the afternoon the bowlere attending the tournament, their lady friends and i number of other visitors were the guests of the President of the Association, Mir W. Jacques, and Mrs Jacques.
